Back to School, the MCE way!
September 8, 2020, by MCE Blog Team

As we make our way through the second week of September, for many in our Maine Camp Experience (MCE) family, this means we are headed back to school. Whether your school is fully online, in person, or a hybrid of both, we want our MCE campers to feel the excitement that back to school brings. There is no doubt that this year will look different than normal— and will be different for each and every camper— but, we at MCE know that our campers are fully equipped to face the unknowns of the year ahead, because of summers at camp!

We at MCE believe that camp teaches us so much, and each summer brings campers and counselors new life lessons that you can bring with you beyond the summer. And as we face this school year, we know that camp has taught us how to be resilient, and how to react to change.

At our MCE camps, campers learn how to try new things and learn how to be up for any new challenge that comes their way. Whether it’s trying a new activity, heading out on a difficult hike, or learning a new skill, our campers always rise to the occasion and meet each new challenge with a smile on their face. Which is why we are confident that our campers will bring their resilient, positive energy into this school year, no matter what they face!

As summer comes to an end, we encourage you to bring your “summer selves” into the school year— try new things, be open to new friends, and bring that camper attitude wherever you go! As we face an untraditional school year, we know that no one is more prepared than a Maine Camp Experience camper.
